DEF Loop System™
The industry’s first plug-and-play DEF-dispensing system
Since 2010, all diesel-powered trucks in the United States that must meet federal emissions standards have been outfitted with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system that is powered by Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). As the DEF-dispensing infrastructure has grown and evolved in the ensuing years, OPW has created a DEF-specific version of its FlexWorks Loop System™.
Like the original, the DEF Loop System employs pre-fabricated and factory-assembled components, resulting in dramatically less field labor time and lower associated costs, along with less potential for installation errors to occur. These capabilities make the DEF Loop System a simplified and completely integrated piping system that facilitates easy inspection and the identification and repair of any problem that may develop, all while enhancing leak-prevention ability.
The DEF Loop System features the 60V-DEF-SS Shear Valve:
- 100% stainless-steel construction for unmatched DEF compatibility with a double-poppet design
- Third-party tested to ensure compatibility with the ISO 22241 standard.
- Utilizes a 1” NPT connection on top and 1.5” or 2” NPT or NPSH thread on the bottom
- It is also designed for easy use with DEF-recirculation systems
