Prague, Czech Republic – OPW Fueling Components EMEA, a Dover Company (NYSE: DOV) and the global leader in commercial and retail petroleum equipment, is pleased to announce the hiring of Fred Hess to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing OPW EMEA. Hess comes to OPW after spending the past 21 years at Franklin Fueling Systems GmbH in Wittlich, Germany, the last 11 of which he served as Franklin Fueling’s Director and Vice President of EMEA.

In his new position, Hess, who will report directly to Kobza, will lead OPW’s various sales and marketing teams in EMEA. Hess joins the organization at an exciting time for OPW, buoyed by the recent product launches of the AVANCE Series of Next Generation Hanging Hardware, FusionWorks and FlexWorks Underground Piping System, the Total Vapour Solution (TVS) vapor-recovery system, market leading ATGs and the introduction at the Automechanika Show of the OPW-branded partnership with FuelQuest, a globally recognized leader in on-demand fuel management and compliance solutions for petroleum-product retailers.
These innovations were made possible through OPW’s production facilities in Prague, Czech Republic, as well as the dedication and hard work of sales and engineering staff based in offices throughout the EMEA region. The result of these efforts is a rapidly growing division that consistently introduces award-winning products to the EMEA market. With recent new hires in engineering and sales, such as the key addition of Fred Hess, OPW EMEA is well positioned for continued growth.
