Ohio Pattern Works is founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

1916
Ohio Pattern Works is the leading supplier of couplings, valves and nozzles to major oil and chemical companies

1948
G. L. Ohrstrom & Associates acquires company and changes name to OPW

1949
OPW introduces Kamlok® cam and groove quick-disconnect coupling

1960
Dover Corporation acquires OPW

1961
Kamvalok® dry disconnect coupling is the result of OPW's pioneering efforts to reduce liquid product loss

1983
OPW reorganized into three separate business units; OPW Engineered Systems, OPW Fluid Handling, and OPW Fueling Components

1988
OPW splits three business units into three distinct companies

1989
OPW Fluid Handling changes its name to CIVACON (Cincinnati Valve and Control)

1999
OPW relocates Civacon Cincinnati, Ohio facility to Kansas City. Kamlok®, Autolok™, Kamvalok®, and Drylok™ are moved to OPW Engineered Systems in Lebanon, Ohio

2001
OPW Fluid Transfer Group was formed to include OPW-ES, Civacon/Knappco, Midland Manufacturing and OPW Fluid Transfer Group Europe B.V.

2006
Acquired the Epsilon dry disconnect product line from Eaton Corp.

2009
OPW acquires Hiltap Fittings, a leading supplier of high/low pressure and temperature fittings

2013
OPW Fueling Components, combines with OPW Fluid Transfer Group to form one global company, focused on the distribution and transportation of critical fluids and fuels

2013
OPW acquires Lianyungang Jump Petroleum Chemical Machine Co. Ltd
