OPW Appoints Chris Cooper Regional Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand

CINCINNATI, OHIO, USA  – OPW, A Dover Company (NYSE: DOV) and the global leader in fluid handling solutions announced today that it has appointed Chris Cooper to Regional Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand. Chris was hired to take over the territory from Dan Chew who was promoted to OPW Business Development Manager for Asia Pacific. Chris assumed his new responsibilities effective November 1 and will report directly to Richard Chen, Managing Director for OPW Asia-Pacific.  

In his new position, Chris will be responsible for sales in the Australia and New Zealand region. He will be based out of Melbourne, Australia.

Chris started his career as a support officer for Australian Retail Automation Provider, Crossecom. His downstream petroleum industry career has included a wide range of project management and business development roles that have taken him to New Zealand, Singapore, India, Dubai and Australia. In his most recent position, he served as Commercial Director for Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Middle East and Africa business. 

Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from Murdoch University in Australia. He is currently completing a Masters of International Relations at Macquarie University in Australia.
