Prague, Czech Republic – OPW, a Dover Company (NYSE: DOV), is pleased to announce that its OPW EMEA Czech Republic manufacturing operation has received OHSAS 18001:2007 Certificate of Approval by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited. By gaining this certification, OPW is providing assurance that it is in control of the organizational processes and activities that can have an impact on safety and the environment, while also assuring to its employees that they are working for an environmentally responsible company.
Regarded as the world’s most recognized occupational health and safety management systems standard, OHSAS 18001:2007 is awarded to companies that meet OHSAS-established guidelines for controlling occupational health and safety risks at their plants. This is the first OPW manufacturing facility worldwide to achieve this coveted certification.

The OHSAS certification is symbolic of OPW’s recent successes in Europe.
