A Keegard® system is a performance engineered, solid state, automated fuel control system, providing maximum security and accountability of your fuel. It is the highest quality and most reliable electronic design of any key system existing today. The Keegard activates a fuel dispenser with a high security, registered, individual key. The solid state construction and plug-in modular design makes maintenance effortless.The Keegard master unit can hold up to 30 keys and counters. If there is a need for a greater capacity, the modular design allows you to expand a system to suit your needs.

Easy Operation

Insert a key into its proper lock and turn to activate the fuel dispenser and control system. As the fuel is dispensed, the counters record every tenth of a gallon or liter taken. To de-activate the pump, simply hang up the fuel nozzle or turn the key back to the off position and remove.

Extremely Accurate

The Keegard® tracks usage with non-resettable counters. Each precision made counter is tamperproof and accurately records up to 100 gallons or liters per minute, to the nearest tenth (1000 pulses per minute). The counter records up to 99,999.9 gallons or liters, and then automatically resets.

  • Adaptable to most existing standard or commercial fuel dispensers using pulser kits available from OPW Fuel Management Systems
  • Instantly lock out or reinstate any key that may be lost or stolen
  • 2 Key Lock Out permits only one key to operate at a time – if a second key is inserted and turned, the pump will shut down
  • Keegard® will delay the starting of the pump after the key is turned on to eliminate “milking” of product
  • The Missing Pulse Detector feature is designed to shut the pump off if no pulse is detected
  • One stand-alone, Keegard® Master Unit can hold up to 30 keys and counters
  • Unlimited additional optional slave units add up to 60 additional counters per slave unit

Options

  • Automatic Inventory Status Counter, a resettable totalizer, allows the owner to control fuel inventory by daily or weekly usage
  • Buzzer System alerts keyholder that he has left his key in the unit after he has finished fueling
  • Optional heater prevents condensation and ensures operation in cold climates
  • Visible Counters allow users to verify their gallonage
  • Weather Shield protects the unit during inclement weather
